Maura Higgins left the villa
Love Island 2019 finalist Maura Higgins reveals she once "stormed out of the villa" but show bosses never aired the scene.
The model opens up in her new boohoo podcast, Get The Scoop this week.
"I'm so proud of the fact I didn't give up."
In fairness, we're only shown an hour out of a 24 hour day so there's bound to be moments we missed out on.
For example, Maura admits she left the villa at one point because she, "[couldn't] find a man."
"I'm so proud of the fact I didn't give up because I was going to."
"I actually stormed out of the villa and said, "I want to go home, I can't do it anymore, I can't find a man.""
"But I'm so proud that I got the strength to stay and carry on... and now look, I've got a man!"
Maura made it to the final with professional dancer Curtis and they're still going strong.
She cried a lot in the villa
The Longford native reveals she cried a lot during her time on the show.
She says her worst moment was, "missing my sister's wedding and missing my niece's birthday..."
"Oh my God I cried that day."
"It was also my best friend's two-year anniversary while I was away."
"I cried so many times."
Maura explains, "You have a lot of good moments, but then you have a lot of bad moments in there too..."
"Because things get very heightened."
