Love Island's Wes Nelson and Arabella Chi have called it quits after about nine months of dating.

A friend of the former flames opened up about their split with OK! Magazine yesterday.
The source shared, 'The reason Wes and Arabella split up is simply because the spark was gone.'
'At the start they kept seeing each other non-stop and were infatuated with each other.'

However, the insider revealed, 'in the past couple of months things haven't been right between them.'
'Wes and Arabella aren't the kind of people to cheat, or start looking elsewhere when things go bad, so they agreed to end things.'
'It was a mutual decision and they're finished with each other now. The magic just wasn't there anymore.'

Isolation
Their split comes just days after Wes opened up about life in isolation together.
He told OK!, 'It's been alright. It's hard to get out at the moment, isn't it?'
Wes added, 'We’re just trying to do our piece of exercise a day.'

He said, 'We spend a lot of time with each other anyway so it's been okay to self-isolate because it's pretty much what we have been doing anyway, it's the same as before but we're just not getting out and about.'
'We’re just going on runs and walks, walking around the garden. If we go for a run we'll take the dog with us.'
According to OK! Wes has since moved in with his Love Island bestie Josh Denzel.
