Ariana Grande's ex-boyfriend Mac Miller has broken his silence on her and Pete Davidson's engagement.
If you were hoping for some serious shade, you'll have to look somewhere else, as what he said was actually very lovely.
Speaking on Beats 1 on Apple Music, Mac spoke very openly and candidly about his relationship with Ariana, which lasted two years.
'I was in love with somebody. We were together for two years. We worked through good times, bad times, stress and everything else. And then it came to an end and we both moved on. And it's that simple.'
Up until this moment, he didn't speak publicly about the breakup at all. It seems things really did end well between Ariana and Mac, and there's nothing but respect there.
'It's all positive energy. I am happy for her and [the fact that she's] moving forward with her life, just as I'm sure she is with me.'
The pair split up in the beginning of May and Ariana confirmed the news on her Instagram account, with a sweet statement. 'Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it's not you.'
