Maisie Peters talks VMAs
Two weekends ago, Maisie Peters attended the MTV VMAs with her boss and pal, Ed Sheeran.
In an interview with SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo, she opened up about the experience and admitted she feels like she's living the Hannah Montana life.

When Sarina mentioned her VMAs debut, Maisie laughed, "It's not my normal life!"
"That was a crazy weekend for so many reasons."
Maisie explained she recently moved back to London, and has been living in a house with some friends.

While she was getting ready for a glamorous night in New York, but she was also fighting with her landlord in London.
She explained, "There were various issues with the house."
"So I was like literally going to the VMAs and like also emailing my new landlord..."

Maisie leaned back laughing as she continued, "It was so good! I was like, 'This is truly the Hannah Montana life.'"
The 21-year-old went on to share what it was like attending the ceremony with Ed Sheeran.
"It really goes to show when you watch Ed on the [red carpet], he's such a professional but he's also like so loved I think by the entire industry..."

"Going with Ed was like the nicest time because it's like going with a friend."
"He sort of just like lead the way, I followed... I was so lucky, he's amazing and it was really fun to step into those shoes for a while."
The after party
Sarina asked about the after party, and Maisie revealed they actually went for pizza before heading to a dive bar in Brooklyn.

Maisie said she invited some of her New York friends out, and Ed did the same with his mates.
She said, "It was a really fun, lovely time. Like Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello came."
"But then also my friends who like work in Goldman Sachs and are like 21!"

Maisie said there was just one guy behind the bar and he only had one rule - nobody was to change his music.
She didn't mind this at all because he was playing, "Great indie-rock bangers."
The singer said it was a really, "nice cosy family and friends vibe."
