Maisie Williams opens up
Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams appeared on The Diary of a CEO podcast this week.
During her chat with host Steven Bartlett, she opened up about her childhood, her, "traumatic," relationship with her father, and much more.

"I, as a young child before the age of, like, 8, had a traumatic relationship with my dad," she at the beginning of the episode.
However, she insisted she won't be going into it too much because it affects her entire family.
"But that really consumed a lot of my childhood. Ever since I can remember, I really struggled sleeping," she said.

Maisie spoke about how your experiences as a child can alter who you become as a grown adult.
"That's not to say you can't also become a very peaceful and content and fulfilled person," she added.
The young actress went on to speak about her, "traumatic," childhood experiences.

She said she often felt like, "something awful," was about to happen when she was a kid.
"I just had that sense of impending doom and I didn't know how to make it go away," she said.
Maisie went on to share the moment she realised why she felt this way.

"When I was about 8, there was quite a complex string of events that happened, but basically it had met its peak and I was at school and I was really struggling."
A teacher pulled Maisie aside and asked her some questions about her life at home.
The star's mother came to collect her from school, and she explained, "It was the first time all of the doors were sort of open."

She said, "These things that we were experiencing were like out on the table and it was really, really hard because I still wanted to fight..."
"And say no, these things aren't bad. you're trying to take me away from my dad and that's wrong!"
