Christmas movie The Star is set for release this December and Mariah Carey will be the voice behind the accompanying track. The animated film will star Kelly Clarkson, Oprah Winfrey and Tracy Morgan and will tell the story of Jesus' birth.
Mariah took to Twitter to announce the project and to give us a first look at the trailer.

This news is not to be confused with another animated Christmas project that Mariah also announced on Twitter back in March. 23-years after its initial release All I Want For Christmas Is You is becoming a movie.
