Marisol Nichols' life is being made into a TV show
Riverdale star Marisol Nichols recently revealed she's an undercover agent in the fight against sex trafficking.
After hearing her story, Deadline report Sony Pictures Television are turning it into a TV series.
Marisol's story
The Hermione Lodge actress told Marie Claire in April, all about her job as an undercover agent.
Marisol has appeared in a number of crime shows: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and Cold Case.
As part of her research, she often went on ride-alongs with detectives.
She told the publication that this experience gave her, 'mad respect for these guys.'
And it also sparked her interest in the trafficking world.
As a result, she set up her own nonprofit, Foundation for a Slavery Free World, in 2014.
Marisol was looking for a speaker for a conference she was hosting to raise awareness.
She was introduced to a former special agent for the Department of Homeland Security.
He was working on, 'Internet crimes against kids and child sex tourism,' as quoted by Marie Claire.

Her first undercover operation
A couple months later, he invited Marisol to witness an undercover operation in Haiti.
On their way home, they stopped in another city to investigate a separate situation.
The special agent asked Marisol if she'd like to go undercover for them, and she said yes.
The actress admitted the whole experience was nerve wrecking.
She added, 'But honestly, as soon as we got the first guy, I was like, ‘Oh, let’s go.’'
Ever since, she's been teaming up with law enforcement agencies that are open to working with her.
The Hollywood vigilante
After hearing of Marisol's other life, Deadline report Sony Pictures Television have optioned rights to her story.
They're turning the tale of the Hollywood vigilante into a TV series.
The publication are saying that Marisol will act as an executive producer on the project.
It's also understood she could very well star in the series as well.
Sony Pictures Television are in the early stages of development.
Marisol also confirmed the news on Instagram.
She said, 'To say I am beyond excited about this upcoming project is a huge understatement.'
'A blend of two of my passions rolled into one. Truly, a dream come true.'
In her April interview, Marisol took Marie Claire undercover with her.
