A boy for Marnie Simpson
Marnie Simpson and boyfriend Casey Cody have welcome a son.
Cody took to Instagram late last night to confirm the news.
Sharing a photo of his new born holding his finger he wrote:
'Where do I start... after 28 hours of labour my strong amazing princess [Marnie] delivered our gorgeous little man on the 29th October at 4:20pm 8.1!!!'
'My beautiful baby boy was born, I can’t even describe my emotions right now, it’s been a long journey (10 months).'

Cody continued, 'Watching the person you adore in pain is not nice but the gift we both have right now just wipes away all the bad moments through labour.'
'I literally sit and stair at him non stop with Marnie, he’s the start of our family, he’s so cute!!!!'
He finished by thanking friends and family.
'Again I wanna say thank you to everybody who has messaged me it means a lot the support has been absolutely amazing.'
'Marnie you have done so well you grew this human inside you and boy did you do it perfect and the right way.
'I love you Marnie thank you for being my baby mumma, you KILLED IT.'
12 days overdue
Marnie was 12 days past her due date when she gave birth to her first child yesterday.
Last week she took to social media to share her third trimester struggles.

She wrote, 'So blessed to have this human in my life. I've suffered so badly the last week as I'm now ten days over due and I have to admit it's tough.'
However, it seems boyfriend Casey was doing everything he could to help.
Marnie continued, 'Words can't explain the discomfort, but generally wouldn't be able to get through it without you. Love you so much. I'm so lucky to have you by my side.'
The 27-year-old finished, 'I have my induction booked so this little guy is coming weather he likes it or not 😂🙈 thanks for all the support and messages it means a lot in my down days!'

Marnie has yet to post on social about the arrival of her baby boy.
But a representative for the Geordie Shore star told OK Magazine that, 'Mother and son are both doing well.'
