When the news broke that The Great British Bake Off was moving to Channel 4, we thought Mary Berry was hanging up her apron and oven gloves up for good.
However, it now appears that's not the case! According to reports, Mary will be a judge on a new cooking programme that's coming to the BBC.
Britain's Best Cook will be presented by Claudia Winkleman, and Mary will judge the efforts of the contestants. According to reports, she won't be alone and they're looking for a second judge to join her.
Digital Spy are reporting that Mary has been speaking out about her upcoming role. 'I am never more at home than when I have my judging hat on. This series is going to encourage proper home cooking which I have always championed and I cannot wait to start.' She also added that Claudia is the 'icing on the cake'.
Claudia added 'Am slightly obsessed with Mary so will follow her around with my own moussaka for most of the filming. Apologies in advance.'
The show will reportedly have 10 contestants and eight episodes in each series.
We wonder if Mel and Sue will make a cameo appearance?
