Selling Sunset's Mary & Romain about their time in Ireland
Selling Sunset's Mary and Romain surprised fans with a spontaneous trip to Ireland last Christmas.
In a new interview with SPIN's Sarina Bellissimo, they told the story of a hilarious encounter they had with a bunch of fans outside The Merrion Hotel.
Romain admitted they knew the show was popular, but they underestimated how big it was in Ireland.
In London, they made sure to keep their location a secret, but they didn't think they'd need to be as cautious in Dublin.
So, they shared a bunch of pictures and videos from their stay at The Merrion Hotel.

It wasn't long before a bunch of Selling Sunset fans were waiting outside the hotel for them.
Mary explained the windows are quite big in the hotel, and they had a front facing suite to themselves.
"So, I go into the restroom, unbuttoning my pants, and I look down and they're like, "AHHHH!""
"There was people outside screaming! I was a tenth of a second away from just dropping my pants."
Mary continued, "I closed the curtains, you know, the beautiful old windows, they go really low, so you would have been able to see everything."
"I never thought about that, like now, I'm very, very cautious. Thank God I caught it just in time."

Romain also recalled returning to their hotel room after a day out at the Guinness Storehouse, only to find the place filled with gifts.
He said gifts were constantly being delivered across the two or three days.
Mary said everyone in Ireland was so nice, and she loved every second of her time here.
Season 5 of Selling Sunset premieres on Netflix April 22nd.
