Maura Higgins Downs Shots With Margot Robbie In London

Maura Higgins brushed shoulders with Hollywood and revealed she had been invited to have lunch with Margot Robbie.

The former Love Island star updated her social media followers on her recent meeting with Margot, explaining she had asked the Irish native to meet up with her in London.

Downing shots at on a rooftop bar at Broadwick Soho, the unlikely pair were gathering to celebrate the launch of Fever-Tree and Papa Salt’s gin spritz.

Posting up a storm, Maura shared the afternoon with her Instagram following and posted a selfie with a caption that read:"When Margot Robbie invites you to lunch… you go".

She then posted a video of Margot cheers-ing shot glasses with another message written over the top of it. This time it read: "Got me on shots at 2pm WHAT A WOMAN!!!!"

The Oscar nominee has made her fandom of the hit ITV reality dating show known in the past and ex-Islander Chris Taylor was even cast in her film Barbie as one of the many Kens.

Speaking about her love for the show, she reflected on her time living in Clapham in 2016 before she made it in Hollywood.

Margot previously said: "Love Island reminds me of living in London—watching it with my girlfriends when everybody was home from work.

Maura is currently recovering after a slurry of bad press following her now infamous Brits kiss with the married McFly member Danny Jones.
