Nick Cannon & Bre Tiesi expecting
Nick Cannon is expecting his eighth child, a baby boy, with model Bre Tiesi.
He announced the news on his talk show this week.

Although he's known for a while, the American TV presenter didn't want to share the news so soon after the death of his son Zen.
Nick welcomed Zen into the world with model Alyssa Scott last summer.
In December, he announced Zen had passed away after a battle with brain cancer.

On his talk show this week, Nick said, "This was always in the back of my mind, like, 'What is the right time? How do I share this?'"
"I wanted to definitely respect the grieving process with Alyssa, and Bre was respectful enough."
"She held off making our announcements and speaking on social media."

"I didn't know what to say..."
He continued, "And it was just one of those things like, you know, I didn't know what to do."
"I didn't know what to say when I was dealing with Zen or to hold off."
"Even right now, that it came out yesterday, that wasn't planned to talk about it."

"We wanted to, you know, hold on as long as we can, but it happened."
"We here and I'm with my family I get to discuss it, I get to be open."

This will be Bre's first child, and Nick's eighth.
He already shares 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
And he's dad to 4-year-old Golden and 1-year-old Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell.
