Paul Mescal has been snapped in character on the set of his upcoming blockbuster, Gladiator 2.
The Irish actor plays Lucius Verus, the son of Lucilla, in the film and according to the Mail Online, Paul was filming reshoots for the movie, after production wrapped up in Morocco.
The 28-year-old was in his Roman era in snaps wearing brown and silver armour with blood pouring from his head during a battle scene in Sussex.

The sequel will be set after Maximus’ death, who was originally played by Russell Crowe and will follow Lucius, who thinks his Mam is dead.
The film has a star-studded cast – including Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn and Connie Nielson.
