Pete Davidson addresses his disturbing Instagram post on Saturday Night Live.
Pete Davidson shared on Instagram last month that he doesn't 'want to be on this earth anymore.'
The post read, 'I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last.'
'All I’ve ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.'
In the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live he addresses the post in their 'Weekend Update' segment.
Comedian John Mulaney joins Pete in the segment to talk about Clint Eastwood's new film The Mule.
The conversation then turns to Pete's rough patch last month.
John says, "I've been spending time with Pete to try to show him that you can have a life in comedy that is not insane. A sober, domestic life."
Pete jokes, "Yeah, and after observing John's life, I publicly threatened suicide... I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't make that joke, but it is funny."
Mulaney assures him, "You are loved by many...and we are glad you are OK."

Pete has since deleted his Instagram account.
Thankfully, it seems he's doing a lot better.
