Shay Mitchell is pregnant
Pretty Little Liars star Shay Mitchell is expecting her first child with partner Matte Babel.
She announced the news on Instagram over the weekend with a picture of her baby bump.
Shay's former co-stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson and Lucy Hale have taken to the comments section to congratulate her.

Doesn't she look phenomenal? Well, her PLL family think so too.
Troian played Spencer on the show and she commented, 'YAS queen. I am so excited to be a mama with you and welcome this beautiful babe to the world!'
While Lucy who played Aria on the show simply wrote, 'Congrats Shay !!'
And Ashley who played Hanna commented, 'I love you my girl. I can’t wait.'
The announcement
Shay also announced the news of her pregnancy in a video on YouTube.
In the video, she explains why she kept it a secret for so long, "When you’re in the public eye, there are some things you wanna just keep a secret, until you feel ready."
She goes on, "This, for me, has been the hardest. It’s been really fun and awesome when I’m not trying to hide it anymore."
"I didn’t wanna come out on social media so early on. I’m gonna be so happy when this comes out."
"I can be pregnant, I can be, like, not suck my stomach in."
Shay had a miscarriage last year
The actress suffered a miscarriage early last year.
According to Metro, she shared a photo of the baby scan on Instagram Stories with a broken heart emoji next to it.

"The support and affection that so many of you show me lifts me up during even my darkest days..."
"One of which happened when I miscarried and lost the child of my hopes and dreams."
She won't be the first Pretty Little Liars star to welcome a child. Troian and Suits star Patrick J Adams had a little girl in October.
