Priya Gopaldas donates Love Island salary
Love Island 2021 contestant Priya Gopaldas has donated her salary from the show to NHS charities.
She shared the news on Instagram during the week.

The former Islander posted a screenshot of a bank statement showing £750 entering her account from ITV.
On the same post, she included a screenshot of her £750 donation to NHS Charities Together through Virgin Money Giving.

According to The Sun, the Islanders receive a salary of about £250 a week while in the villa.
The outlet report the fee covers payment for their bills, their rent and other general costs back home.
And if they win the show, they take home an additional £50,000.

Priya was only in the villa a couple weeks before she was dumped alongside her co-star Brett.
This year's finalists were Kaz and Tyler, Faye and Teddy, Toby and Chloe, and Millie and Liam.
The latter pair bagged the title of Love Island 2021 winners, and chose to split the £50,000 cash prize.

The finalists have since returned home following the series finale on Sunday night.
They've each taken to social media to thank their followers for all the support while they were in the villa.
