It looks like Channel 4 are extremely keen on getting Prue Leith as a replacement for Mary Berry on the Great British Bake Off.
According to the Huffington Post the 77 year old is set to join the popular show for a whopping £200,000 - three times more than Mary was paid by the BBC.
Fans were outraged when Paul Hollywood parted ways with his fellow judge last year, when he decided to jump ship with the competition when it moves to Channel 4.
A source told The Sun: "The BBC were really under-paying both Mary and Paul during their time on the show" and that's said to be the reason he left.
The source added "the Bake Off had a relatively low budget which didn’t increase even as its popularity went through the roof"
Prue confirmed she had been in talks with Channel 4 to replace Mary last month, but no deal has yet been done.
