Rebekah Vardy launches €1 million lawsuit
According to reports, Rebekah Vardy has launched a €1 million High Court defamation lawsuit against Coleen Rooney.
It's after she publicly accused Vardy of selling fake stories about her to the press.

According to The Sun's sources, legal costs are expected to be around €500,000 for each side.
It's said Vardy isn't in it for the money, she simply wants an apology.
Vardy lodged the court papers shortly after attending a video meeting with Rooney and their legal advisors.

A source told the outlet, 'Becky has made it clear to Coleen that she is deadly serious about clearing her name...'
The insider revealed, 'It’s not about money.'
'As far as Becky is concerned, she wants her costs and vindication.'

The insider added, 'But since Coleen still refuses to agree to an apology, she’s gone ahead with filing the paperwork at the High Court.'
It's possible that the case could be halted if both parties agree on a settlement.
We'll have to just wait and see how it all plays out.

What happened?
It all kicked off when Coleen claimed somebody from her personal Instagram account had been selling fake stories to the newspapers.
She had a suspicion as to who it could be so she came up with an elaborate plan to out that person.
Coleen explained, 'I blocked everyone from viewing Instagram except ONE account.'

She then shared fake stories about herself on her personal account to see if they would make it to the newspapers.

Rebekah however, denied these allegations and claimed it could have been someone else with access to her account.
She defended, 'Over the years various people have had access to my insta.'
'I'm not being funny but I don't need the money, what would I gain from selling stories on you?'

Meanwhile, footballer Peter Shilton's wife, Stephanie Shilton recently shared her theory on the WAG drama.
She believes Coleen Rooney set Rebekah Vardy up.
