Sabrina Carpenter releases brand new track
21-year-old American singer Sabrina Carpenter has released a brand new song called Skin.
In it, she appears to address the Olivia Rodrigo and Joshua Bassett drama that's been taking the internet by storm.

So basically, it was speculated (but never confirmed) that Joshua and Olivia were romantically involved.
It followed their portrayal of lovers Nini and Ricky in the High School Musical series.
However, it's believed the pair have since called it quits.

Fans became convinced of this when he started posting TikTok videos with fellow artist Sabrina Carpenter.
Shortly after this, Olivia released Drivers License which is all about a failed relationship.
And in the song, she references a, "blonde girl."
Olivia sings, "And you're probably with that blonde girl/ Who always made me doubt."
"She's so much older than me/ She's everything I'm insecure about."
It's important to note, Sabrina is not only blonde, but she's also four years older than Olivia.

The track, which dropped today, begins, "Maybe we could have been friends/ If I met you in another life"
"Maybe then we could pretend/ There's no gravity in the words we write"

In the next line, Sabrina sings, "Maybe you didn't mean it/ Maybe, "blonde," was the only rhyme"
And in the chorus, she sings, "You can try/ To get under my, under my, under my skin"
"While he's on mine/ Yeah, all on my, all on my, all on my skin"
