Scott Disick's rumoured girlfriend Amelia Gray Hamlin has responded to backlash online.
The actress is being accused of, 'blackfishing,' in her latest Instagram post.

Amelia shared a string of photos of herself posing for the camera.
She captioned the post, 'whiplash got me like......'
Many took offence to the fact that her skin tone appeared to be much darker than her other posts.

After being accused of, 'blackfishing,' Amelia turned off comments on the post.
This is when someone alters their appearance to make themselves look black or racially ambiguous.
It can be done by using darker makeup, tan, filters etc.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Amelia addressed the backlash.
She wrote, 'im receiving a lot of comments in regards to my latest photo.'
'I am being told that I am 'black fishing' – thank you all for educating me on this topic.'

She continued, 'I recently went on vacation in the sun, and with my Italian heritage I tan very easily.'
'There is no self tanner involved. Or intention of looking darker than my own natural skin color.'
'I had a lot of fun creating this look with no malice intention or offense,' she concluded.
