This is the Year
Selena Gomez and David Henrie are inviting fans to attend an online premiere of their new movie, This is the Year.
According to Vulture, David not only stars in the film, but he also directed it.
While Selena is as an executive producer on the project.
The Wizards of Waverly Place stars announced they're holding a live online premiere on August 28th.
TikTok stars Charli and Dixie D’Amelio will moderate a conversation between Selena, David and the cast.
Lovelytheband, who featured in the movie, will also perform.
This is the Year
As per Vulture, This is the Year is about a high school student who road trips to a music festival to get a girl.
Selena said she knows this movie will give viewers, "all the feels."
David and Selena's Wizards of Waverly Place co-star Gregg Sulkin also stars in the movie.
"With all the craziness going on in the world right now, a feel good movie is just what we need."
The singer explained, "This movie is all about change, a theme that couldn’t be more relevant in 2020."
