Taylor Lautner talks Twilight fame
Twilight's Taylor Lautner has opened up about the struggles he faced as a teen following the success of the franchise.
He shot to fame following his portrayal of Jacob Black in all five movies.
In a new interview with NBC's Today, Taylor admitted life in the limelight as a teenager isn't as glamorous as you'd think.
"I went so many years either not leaving my house, or if I did, hat, sunglasses, and just like, scared," he said.
"It built up something inside of me where, I didn't know it, but I was scared to go out."

"I'd get super anxious to go out. So I just didn't."
Taylor remembered there being at least 12 cars waiting outside his house whenever he went for a walk or headed off on a date.
He also recalled showing up at the airport to, "thousands of fans screaming."
"In the moment, it got frustrating 'cause you just wanted to live a normal life," Taylor pointed out.
But when the fame was suddenly taken away from him, he started to question why.
"you start to start to question yourself and start to be like, 'Oh, do people not care about me anymore?'"

"And it goes away a little bit. You notice it and that's the dangerous part, because that can really mess with your mind."
After a break from Hollywood, Taylor is finally returning for the brand new Netflix series Home Team.
And he recently popped the question to his partner Tay Dome.
