Taylor Swift reportedly had fans' pictures taken at a concert in California back in May.
According to reports, facial recognition software was being used to track down the singers' stalkers without their knowledge.
Rolling Stone has reported that the photo's were taken when fans turned their attention to a kiosk screen which showed a video of Swift rehearsing.
Mike Downing, chief security officer of Oak View Group, an advisory board for concert venues, told the magazine that the photo's were sent to a "command post" where they were then referenced against a database of hundreds of the singers stalkers.
According to the magazine, Downing went to the concert to witness the system in action having been invited as a guest for the company who creates the kiosks.
This comes as TMZ had previously reported that a man broke into the singers home in Soho.
According to the publication, the man was spotted climbing a ladder where he eventually reached a window that he smashed in with his hand.
He took a shower in the house before he fell asleep in one of her beds.
The burglar will be sentenced to six months in prison as well as five years probation.
Taylor Swift has yet to comment on the allegations.
