Three things to watch on TV this week:
1) Riviera, Sky Atlantic, Thursday at 9pm
This looks slick. This new thriller series stars Julia Stiles (member her, from 10 Things I Hate About You?) and as the name suggests is set on the French Riviera. Julia plays Georgia Clios a widowed art dealer whose husband died in a yacht explosion owned by a Russian arms dealer. But it wouldn't be drama if that was the full story- and Georgia sets out to find out exactly what happened to her husband. This series also stars Iwan Rhoen (Ramsey from Game of Thrones) as Gergia's son. The show was created by Irish director Neil Jordan and U2's ex manager Paul McGuinness. We can't wait.
2) First Dates USA, E4, Thursday at 10pm
We love the UK First Dates, love the Irish version and now we've hit the jackpot- the American version! It pretty much follows the same format as the Irish one but the narrator is none other than Drew Barrymore, amazing! Trailer looks gas- but I wonder if Americans will be as awkward on dates as Irish people?!
3) Box Office, 3e, Wednesday at 8pm
The second episode of Lisa Cannon's brand new movie show 'Box Office' hits screens on Wednesday. Lisa will be chatting to Scarlett Johansson from the red carpet of her new comdedy 'Rough Night', John Connors (Love/Hate) will be chatting about his new gangland feature 'Cardbord Gangsters' and Lisa will also be going on a tour of some of New York's most iconic movie locations.
