Everyone's chatting about this GAS moment from Robot Wars last night...when a grown man STORMED off the set because his team lost to a group of kids. So the new series kicked off on BBC 2 last night, hosted by Angela Scanlon and Dara O'Brian and in a bit of a twist Team Behemoth (robot regulars, have been on the show since 1998) had to take on Team Cherub, a bunch of kids.
There was no decisive winner, so it had to go to a judge's decision. They went with Team Cherub and the captain of Team Behemoth was BULLING! The rage is captured here is this gif:
1) Don't Tell The Bride, RTÉ 2, Monday at 10pm
It's a brand new series that's kicking off on RTÉ 2 tonight! In tonight's episode groom Ben attempts to plan the dream wedding for his finacé Celina who is pregnant. Apparently the two of them have had their fair share of fights in IKEA, so Ben decides the best place to have their wedding is in...you guessed it...IKEA! Also Celina is not happy that Ben seems to have completely forgot that she is pregnant when picking out her wedding dress, we can't wait for this one! Here's the moment Celina realises where she's going to be married:
2) Scrufft's: Britain's Favourite Dog, Channel 4, Friday at 8pm
A week after the thoroughbreds of the dog world got to do their thing at Crufts, on Friday we'll get to see the crossbreeds battle it out! The final of Scuffts (the crossbreed section of Crufts) took place last night- 14-year-old Joshua King and his German Shepherd/Border Collie cross 'Biscuit' was awarded the title, Family Crossbreed of the Year. Over 1,500 crossbreeds entered this year and the whole thing was captured for the Channel 4 doc airing this Friday.
3) Marvel's Iron First, Netflix, From Friday
This new series staring Finn Jones (from Game of Thrones) is available on Netflix from Friday and tells the story of Danny Rand who returns to New York after being presumed dead in a plane crash. He wants to take back his family company- but his enemies show up in the city and he has to choose between his family legacy and his duties as The Iron Fist.
One To Watch For Future: Ed Sheeran's Cameo in Game of Thrones Season 7!
It was confirmed last night that Ed will appear in the new season of Game of Thrones, which is back in July! The creator of the show David Benioff spoke at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Texas over the weekend and made the announcement by saying "For years, we tried to get Ed Sheeran on the show to surprise Maisie, and this year we finally did it" Details on what exactly Ed's role will be were not given.
On Friday it was announced that Game of Thrones would be returning to HBO and Sky Atlantic on July 16th.
