Tele Bants: Here's What To Watch This Week

Here are three TV programmes you need to be watching this week:

1) Trump V Ireland, TV3, Monday & Tuesday at 10pm

This two part series is kicking off on TV3 tonight- Matt Cooper is examining Donald Trump as a US president and what it means for Irish people. He'll be looking into the Irish Americans that are in the Trump administration incl Kellyanne Conway and Sean Spicer and taking a look at what's in store for Irish people living in the US. In part two tomorrow night, the doc will examine what Trump's election will mean for Ireland as a whole and our economy. 

2) Locked Up, Channel 4, Thursday at 10pm 

If you're a fan of Orange is the New Black, you'll love this! Locked Up is an award winning Spanish drama about a woman called Macarena who is put in a high security women's jail for a crime she didn't commit. Backstabbing, relationships, drama- it's got everything you want from a prison drama. This is the second series that is kicking off, you can catch up on the first on Channel 4's website. 3) Girlboss, Netflix, Available now

This Netflix series is inspired  by the New York Times best-selling book #Girlboss by Sophia Amoruso who is the founder of the fashion brand Nasty Girl. It tells the story of Sophia, about how she built up this multi-million dollar fashion empire in a really short space of time. The show is produced by some pretty heavy hitters including Pitch Perfect producer Kay Cannon and Charlize Theron.

One To Watch Out For: The Keepers, Netflix, May 19th

Fans of Making a Murderer will be VERY into this. A seven part true crime documentary it tells the story of the unsolved murder of Sister Cathy Cesnik in 1960's Baltimore. This case hasn't been touched in years but Netflix have reopened it - staff and students who were in the school she taught in at the time have become suspects. Check out trailer:
