Here are three programmes you need to be watching this week!

1) Loaded, Channel 4, Monday at 10pm

This brand new comedy series kicks off tonight. It's about four friends who have managed to bank £246 million from making an app about a cat! So the four of them obviously get totally carried away with the money and then have to figure out what their next big idea is. Some familiar actors in there include Samuel Anderson from Doctor Who and Jim Howick from Peep show. Check out the trailer!

2)The Truth About Sleep, BBC 1, Thursday at 9pm

This is for anyone who is constantly tired (which we assume is most people!). Journalist Michael Moseley explores sleeping in depth- what happens when you're sleeping and most important, how to do it properly! We absolutely need to watch this.

3) Anne With An E, Netflix, From Friday

This series coming to Netflix on Friday is set in Prince Edward Island in the 1890's and is another screen adaptation of the 1908 book 'Anne of the Green Gables'. Anne is an orphan who has spent years being mistreated in orphanages and is eventually sent to live with an older brother and sister. She transforms the lives of the siblings and the town she lives in and is real little feminist! What's really exciting about this series is Amybeth McNulty, who plays Anne -is from Donegal!

One To Watch Out For:

The Young Offenders was one of the big Irish movies of last year and it's been announced this week that  BBC Three and BBC Comedy in association with RTÉ have commissioned a six part series for it! The series will continue following the adventures the two main characters Conor MacSweeney and Jock O'Keefe. All the original cast are back and it goes into production in Cork this summer!
