Suzanne Collins announced the surprise installment earlier this year. It's set to focus on the Second Quarter Quell, which was won by the much-loved Haymitch Abernathy.
As mentioned in Catching Fire, the Second Quarter Quell had double the amount of tributes competing in the games. Haymitch noticed the forcefield surrounding the area and used it strategically to ensure his victory.
Do we know anything else?
This is the second prequel to the original The Hunger Games series. It'll take place 24 years before Katniss and Peeta's games.
The book is set to be released on March 18th 2025. If you're not much of a reader, the good news is a film is already in the works.
Lionsgate are working on the film adaption, which is currently set to be released on November 20, 2026.
