Rihanna sent our social media into a frenzy yesterday when she shared snaps of herself glitzed up for the Crop Over Festival. As the name suggest Crop Over Festival is a harvest festival. The celebrations centre around the sugar cane harvest and begins with the "crowning of the King and Queen of the Festival - the most productive male and female cane cutters of the season."

Riri is proud of her Barbados roots and the Bajan beauty spoils us with snaps of the eclectic costumes at this festival every year.

Her stunning carnival costume was created by Aura Experience, a Barbados based designer. Rihanna looked like she was having a ball as she got in videos dancing on a float and posed for snaps with fellow festival goers.
We're in awe of her neon feathery festival attire and will be drawing inspiration from it for Electric Picnic, here's hoping we get the weather!
