Ewan McGregor has pulled out of an appearance on Good Morning Britain because Piers Morgan hosts the show. He was due to speak about his new movie T2, but cancelled last minute because of Piers's comments on the Women's March.
Ewan announced the news online when he tweeted: 'Was going on Good Morning Britain, didn't realise @piersmorgan was host. Won't go on with him after his comments about #WomensMarch.'
Piers quickly hit back tweeting: 'Sorry to hear that @mcgregor_ewan - you should be big enough to allow people different political opinions. You're just an actor after all. A real man would have come on and debated it with me, not run away like a coward.'
Ewan's cancellation came after Piers tweeted: 'I'm planning a 'Men's March' to protest at the creeping global emasculation of my gender by rabid feminists. Who's with me?', over the weekend.
Piers provoked the situation further by tweeting 'Vainspotting' soon after Ewan made the announcement.
