Animaniacs could be making a return to our TV screens.
According to Indiewire, Amblin Television and Warner Bros are planning a reboot of the hit 90s cartoon. The show has experienced a fresh surge in popularity since coming to Netflix last year.
Steven Spielberg, who developed the original, is said to be on board with creating an updated version.
The reboot is reported to be in the very early stages of development so we could be waiting a while before the beloved 90s show hits television screens.
Animaniacs ran for 99 episodes from 1993 to 1995 on Fox Kids, before moving to Kids’ Warner Bros from 1995 to 1998.
