George Clooney attempts the Irish accent
Actor George Clooney talks to Jimmy Kimmel about his time spent in Ireland with Bono over Easter.
It was his first time visiting the Island and he says he loved it, "Ireland is spectacular."
However, he attempts the Irish accent and admits it's really, "bad."

On his first day here George said he couldn't understand the Irish accent.
"I spent the afternoon trying to understand what they were saying."
Clooney goes on to attempt the accent before admitting it's really bad.

The 58-year-old points out that his voice always goes high pitched during his attempts.
"It's like the.. the lucky charms..." Jimmy chimes in, "the leprechaun from lucky charms yeah!"
George Clooney's Irish ancestry
The actor goes on to talk about his relatives in Ireland.
"We left in 1857 so most of the folks are dead as you can imagine."
"I've never been to Ireland and we planned to go with my Mom and Dad because they know some of my Irish relatives."

When asked what it was like meeting his relatives he said, "it was odd."
"I also have to say that there's this other part of you that you sort of do feel this weird connection to."
