It looks like Zac Efron's a single man again
According to reports, Zac Efron and his girlfriend Vanessa Valladares have called it quits.
It comes exactly one month after it was alleged he had proposed.
An insider revealed all to The Sun's Bizarre column, as quoted by MailOnline.
They said, 'Zac and Vanessa looked like the real deal. They were besotted with each other.'
'Zac has been renting a place by the beach in Byron Bay and by September Vanessa was living with him there.'
'So once he decided to stay in Australia long term, he suggested they buy their first home.'
'They'd started to look at a few places but, sadly, fate wasn't on their side.'
Zac has had to leave his girlfriend in Byron Bay to film a movie in Adelaide.
Long distance
The High School Musical heartthrob is set to star in an upcoming survival thriller called Gold.
However, according to the insider, the long distance, 'has really taken its toll,' on his relationship with Vanessa.
'Friends hope they can reunite, but it seems their relationship was more like a holiday romance than they cared to admit.'
This news comes one month after it was reported Zac had popped the question.
As quoted by MailOnline, a source told Woman's Day last month that he gave her the ring after his 33rd birthday party.
'Neither of them are saying much about it, but there's no doubt it was some kind of unofficial engagement.'
Zac's friend Kyle Sandilands, who attended his birthday party, insisted Zac was madly in love with Vanessa on his radio show last month.
