Zac Efron talks High School Musical TV show
High School Musical star Zac Efron said he'd 'absolutely' make a cameo in the upcoming TV Show.
He told Extra TV this week that he had no idea a series based on the movie was even in the works.

Efron was promoting his upcoming Ted Bundy movie in an interview with Extra TV this week.
He was asked by the presenter if he'd consider making a cameo in the new High School Musical TV show.
"Yeah absolutely! One hundred percent. I mean I don't see why not."
"I didn't know there was one, I'm sorry but that's awesome."
The TV show
Disney are working on High School Musical the TV show which they're expected to release on their streaming service this year.
According to Seventeen, production is expected to have started in February.

Bassett is well known by Disney Channel fans as having starred in 'Stuck in the Middle.'
However, this will be his first serious role.

The Hollywood Reporter has described Ricky as "a cynical but charming high school lad who launches a plan to win back his former squeeze Nini."
His plan to win her back involves auditioning for the school's production of High School Musical.
Each episode of the 10 part series will feature one High School Musical song and one original song.
