Before her fame, Zendaya was a very shy kid.
According to GQ, 'her parents sought counsel on how to manage her affliction.'
As she grew up however, she learned to speak her mind and it's something she'll do comfortably with family and friends.

She explained, 'With my family and friends, I can go back and forth on a topic for no reason.'
'I'm not actually winning anything here, but I like to go back and forth just to make sure that my point is heard, make sure my point has gotten across, which is similar, in many ways, to Marie.'

'You come off kind of cold'
The actress said she had to learn how to do communicate with people after her stylist told her she came across, 'cold,' and, 'mean.'

'When really I just was too nervous,' Zendaya defended.
She said, 'In this industry, I had to learn how to do small talk and stuff, because I guess I would kind of come off cold to people because I didn't really know how to start conversation.'
