Arctic Seals are typically found in Greenland, Northern Canada and Russia but it seems like a rather large one has made a summer home in West Cork.
Spotted for the first time on Friday the bearded seal seems to be quite content chilling on the grass.
Grey seals are common in Ireland but this is just the second time an arctic seal has been recorded on our shores.
