Electric Picnic 2021
Electric Picnic say they're hopeful the vaccination roll out will be complete in time to allow for this year's festival to go ahead.
However, they stressed it's entirely in the Government's hands.

An article had been published, revealing an interview with one of the, 'organisers.'
They said they're hopeful the festival will go ahead and that there are, 'strong reasons for optimism.'
However, the official EP Twitter have released a statement claiming the person interviewed is not an organiser.

They continued, 'The Electric Picnic team remain hopeful that the vaccination roll out will be complete in sufficient time to allow the festival to go ahead obviously but remain in Government hands for that.'

EP 2020
Last year's Electric Picnic was set to be iconic.
Rage Against The Machine, Snow Patrol and The Chemical Brothers were all set to headline.
Other acts included Picture This, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel, James Vincent McMorrow, and Bicep.

In May, they released a statement announcing the festival would not be going ahead.
Festival goers were given the option to request a refund or keep their tickets for the 2021 festival.
According to the Irish Times, 95% of people retained their tickets.
