Hello bank holiday weekend. Forbidden Fruit, we've missed you!
The June long-weekend is finally here and it looks like we're in for a great three days off. Some of the biggest names in hip hop are performing on Saturday & Sunday, and more indie names closing the festival on Monday.
If you're heading along this weekend, here's your guide to everything you need to know:
Tickets
Tickets are still available. But, they are limited. So get on to Ticketmaster without delay.
Do I need ID?
Yes. It's always handy to have. This is an over 18s festival.
How do I get to Forbidden Fruit?
Luas: Get the red line to Heuston Station & walk to the East Gate on Millitary Rd.
Bus: 40, 123, 13 will drop you to St James' Hospital. 25A goes to Heuston Station and the 79 & 79A will take you as far as St John's Rd West.
Gates
Saturday and Sunday, gates are open at 2pm. Monday, they open at 3pm. Last entry to the festival is 9:30pm each day (with the Ticketmaster Box Office closing then too) so don't be messin' and get in ASAP.
What's the bag situation like?
No large bags will be permitted. Anyone without a bag will be fast-tracked into the arena. There will be security checks upon entry. A4 size bags & smaller are recommended.
Who should I see?
The lineup this year is so good, we want to say see EVERYONE. But, we know in reality that's not possible. Check out our '5 acts not to miss' on Saturday here.
What are the stage breakdowns?
SATURDAY
SUNDAY
MONDAY
Where should I go after?
There are some after-parties planned in the city afterwards. You can check those out here. Keep an eye on our website across the weekend for updates on the ones that were supposed to be in Hangar.
