Huge Stars Confirmed To Attend Dublin International Film Festival!

Roll up the red carpet!

Huge names are confirmed to attend the Dublin International Film Festival this February.

Stars such as Ralph Fiennes, Jessica Lange, Ed Harris, Ben Foster, Fiona Shaw and Twiggy are among the celebs to walk the red carpet.

All the action is kicking off the 20th Feb - 2nd Mar for 11 days of Irish and world premieres, gala events, and cinematic magic.

The festival promises an exciting and varied program, showcasing everything from thought-provoking dramas and captivating documentaries to Q&As and industry events and more, which will offer something for every film lover.

The festival launches with a standout performance by Ralph Fiennes in Uberto Pasolini’s The Return, and close with Darren Thornton’s Four Mothers, featuring Fionnuala Flanagan.

DIFF will host some of the biggest names in cinema, with Jessica Lange and Ed Harris receiving the prestigious Volta Awards, celebrating their outstanding careers.

Both actors will attend the world premiere of Long Day’s Journey Into Night, an adaptation of Eugene O’Neill’s classic play.

Other festival highlights include a Country in Focus spotlight on Moroccan cinema, with films like Animalia and Everybody Loves Touda, and a special tribute to Gilmore Girls’ 25th Anniversary.

Elsewhere, the IFTA's and Screen Ireland have announced their 2025 Rising Star nominees are: Anthony Boyle, Aislinn Clarke, Clinton Liberty and Alisha Weir.

Previous winners of the award include: Saoirse Ronan, Michael Fassbender, Nicola Coughlan and Domhnall Gleeson - all of whom have gone on to achieve success both in Ireland and internationally.

The winner of the award is set to be announced at the ceremony on Friday, the 14th of February.
