Kylie Minogue announced for Glastonbury Festival 2019 this morning.
She revealed the news on Twitter this morning saying:
'It will be 14 years since I was originally meant to appear there and so much has happened up to now. I can’t wait to see you all there to share this special show'
I’m so thrilled to announce that I’ll be playing the ‘Legend slot’ on Sunday 30th June at @GlastoFest 2019. It will be 14 years since I was originally meant to appear there and so much has happened up to now. I can’t wait to see you all there to share this special show. pic.twitter.com/wHAiBs54Cx

Previous artists to play the legend slot include Lionel Richie, Dolly Parton, Tom Jones and Chic.
Kylie was forced to cancel her 2005 appearance.
The gig will no doubt be an emotional one for the Australian singer.
Kylie was due to appear at Glastonbury in 2005 but was forced to cancel her show due to her breast cancer diagnosis and was replaced by Basement Jaxx.
She made a brief appearance in Worthy Farm on stage with The Scissor Sister in 2010 but next year will mark Kylie's first full performance on the iconic Pyramid Stage.
Kylie is the second act to be announced for the 2019 festival.
She joins Stormzy on the line up, who was revealed in November as the Friday night headliner.
A small number of tickets go on sale in April.
