Taylor Swift has self-confirmed to headline Glastonbury 2020.
The pop star shared a photo to social media yesterday revealing she will close the Sunday night of the festival.

And festival organiser Emily Eavis re-shared her tweet saying, 'TAYLOR! YES!'.

Earlier this year Eavis acknowledged the low number of female headliners in the festival's history.
She pledged to achieve a 50/50 gender balance in all future lineups.
Speaking to The Guardian Eavis said, We are working towards 50/50."
"Some years it’s 60/40. It’s a challenge we’ve really taken on, and I’m always totally conscious every day that the gender balance should be right."
Mixed reactions
Taylor's announcement has been met with mixed reactions by ticket holders.
The festival sold out in October with no lineup due until April 2020.
One Twitter user said, 'Oh dear, how can she close the festival on the 50th anniversary!! #rip Glastonbury.'
While another said, 'What an absolute shocker! Is that really the best you can do for Glastonbury 50th. How poor.'
But not all responses have been negative!
Responding to Eavis' tweet a user said, 'Massive booking, excellent work. This is shaping up to be one hell of a line up.'
Another wrote, 'You've absolutely made my Christmas with this.'
Taylor Swift joins Paul McCartney as a headliner for Glastonbury 2020.
Diana Ross, The Streets and Aerosmith will also appear.
With one final headline slot still to be filled Kendrick Lamar is the bookies favourite.
