The adrenaline-fueled urban obstacle course race promised a day of fast-paced action, lung-busting sprints, and stunning sea views, offering participants the ultimate test of speed, strength, and stamina across 16 obstacles.
SPIN's Social Media Manager, Conor Finn, took on the race amongst Red Bull's content creators (Andy Asco, Lara O'Brien, Robbie Powell and Ben Mulholland), commenting on the experience;
"The day was full on adrenaline! From the moment you approached the sign-in tents at Dún Laoghaire Harbour, you could see hundreds rallied in their stretches, preparing for the race!"
"The atmosphere was electric with cheers from the crowds fuelling each of us over and under the next challenge. My biggest fear was the 'ice baths' hidden behind a jump which definitely shocked some participants, but with the sun out and final sprints in sight across the stunning views of Dublin Bay, this only added to the adrenaline of the race, and made for some dramatic photo-opps I'm sure!"
Anthony Crowe and Aoife O’Sullivan claimed champions of the course, completing the 1.7KM race in under 8mins, winning entry to HYROX Dublin when the world’s premier indoor fitness race comes to the RDS this November.
