The Best Of Spin 1038's Plan B 2019
2019 saw a star studded line up for Spin 1038's Plan B. This year Sarina Bellissimo spoke to some of Hollywood's favourites including Paul Rudd and Emila Clarke.
As this year comes to an end we look back on the best interviews, laughs and music we had as part of Plan B 2019.
Lewis Capaldi
Needless to say the craic was had when Lewis Capaldi dropped into Spin for the chats back in February.
At the time the singer was in town to support Bastille on the tour but the gig was cancelled last minute after the bands equipment did not make it due to bad weather conditions.
But true Capaldi style this didn't stop him playing a gig for his Irish fans. He spoke to Sarina about how he received a call from The Bleeding Horse Pub in Dublin, the singer grabbed a guitar and took to the stage.
had a night off so playing a few tunes in a pub in dublin! https://t.co/rAnzZxOYjt

Ricky Gervais
In March Sarina caught up with the straight talking Ricky Gervais for an Irish radio exclusive.

Knowing that everyone on this planet will be dead one day gives me so much comfort. Happy New Year.
As expected Ricky did not hold back on what he to say about life as he spoke about his Netflix series Afterlife.
If you have watched Afterlife you will know there have been one liners that have come out of this series that have caused outrage amongst some groups.
But while speaking to Sarina, Ricky told us just what he thinks about those reactions. Watch the full interview below.
Julia Michaels
Later that month Sarina spoke to the amazing singer and songwriter Julia Michaels. The pair got chatting about Niall Horan and we needed to know more!
She told Sarina what it has been like working with people like Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. But while chatting about her collaborations she mentioned about working with our very own Niall Horan.
It was obvious that she was swooning over working with him and even revealed what she loves most about him.
Find out what she had to say about our favourite Mullingar boy below.
Colin Farrell
The following week Sarina spoke to Colin Farrell star of this year's highly anticipated Disney movie Dumbo.
While chatting to Irish actor he even revealed his secret to success.
He said, “Chance, luck, I mean it’s so out of my control. You know, you work as hard as you can when you go to work but there are so many factors at play. There are so many different energies that have to come together to make a film, not even work, but to just make it exist. "
Watch the full interview below.
James McAvoy
Back in September Sarina joined the stars of IT: Chapter 2 in London.
This was one of the most frightening moments of Sarina's career as she was made walk through a world were she was being chased by IT.
While she was there she caught up with Star of the movie James McAvoy.
While McAvoy didn't find the movie set scary, he did have a number of mishaps.
"I smacked my knees up a little bit. I pulled my quads and got tendinitis," he told Sarina.
Watch as Sarina tries to ask about the clown that she is absolutely terrified of below.
Paul Rudd and Aisling Bea
This year Netflix had some incredible original series and one of them featured our very own Aisling Bea.
Aisling was cast alongside Avengers star Paul Rudd in Living With Yourself.

Charlie is a massive Friends fan so he couldn’t believe his luck when he was on The Ellen DeGeneres show and she surprised him with Jennifer Aniston!

Emilia Clarke & Henry Golding

Here on Plan B we love to support new music from acts within Ireland.
Every week a new band or singer opens the show with original music and a chat with Sarina.
This year we had so many talanted artists and we have no doubt that they will shine in 2020.
