Christmas Lights
Dublin Town will switch on the city centre Christmas lights this week!
However, we won't find out when and there won't be a switching on ceremony.
Eagle-eyed elves may have noticed the lights have been in place for a while now.
And at a mysterious time this week all one million plus bulbs will light up.
Speaking about the magical moment a rep from Dublin Town said, "There is no set date and no set event, they will just come on."
"So when you're wandering around #DublinTown next week, you might be lucky enough to be standing under them for that special moment when they switch on for the first time this year!"
The lights are over five kilometres long and cover 30 streets.
So try not to get a fright if you happened to be out and about when the evening sky lights up!
No ceremony
This is the second year when Dublin won't have an official switching on ceremony.
The Dublin At Christmas Facebook page made the announcement last year, with many believing the event was cancelled due to crowd management issues.
However, it's still a magical time!
