Judging by our round up fruit wasn't the only thing forbidden this weekend with festival fashion faux pas' near nonexistent. Online sites were popular for more unusual pieces bought specifically for the festival. Revellers were delighted with the good value found on sites like Missguided, BooHoo and Pretty Little Thing. Our old reliables Penneys, Zara and H&M remain very popular for both guys and gals. Irish retailers like Folkster, Siopaeile and House of Akina had their praises sung too. The weather this weekend gave us reason to pack like a sherpa for each day in D8. Despite Mother Nature's messing fashionable festival goers were out in force. Here's some of our favourites. Spoiler alert: No male rompers!

Co-ords are a massive trend this year and it’s easy to see why. With endless colours and eclectic patterns to pick from it’s hard to settle on one but these gals nailed their choices. Extra points for matching the hair glitter to the outfit, bravo!

These ladies are teaching a lesson in the little things. The smallest extra details can make an outfit look way more polished and planned. Flowers in her hair and jewels that pick up the colours in this playsuit exemplify this. An all white ensemble invites the addition of a statement piece, the tropical bag, that compliments the the outfit perfectly.

Culottes, more like COOLottes (sorry), are the perfect way to achieve an outfit as glamorous as it is comfy. Fringe is a timeless festival favourite for a reason, see above, wow. The hat and back pack make for great accessorising. All round festival fabulousness achieved. Fair dues to the dapper dude too.

A classic monochrome get up gives plenty of freedom to play with accessories. For the weekend that’s in it this fluffy watermelon key ring was a great, groovy addition. The silver backpack and palm tree emblazoned jacket effortlessly transition this outfit from festival chic to festival fleek.

With a flick of the wrist these guys upped their festival style game. Let’s face it, your phone will die during the day, the watch is as practical as it is stylish. Props where they’re due for the shirts too.

Don’t fear flipping prints to the bottom half of your outfit. This guy has the suss for slick festival attire with below the belt action. Layered necklaces, the hat and the party on his pants land him the title of our best dressed fella.

This gal’s animal prints were a roaring success! These nature prints brightened up a muddy Monday. Nice touch bringing the elephant earrings to the jungle party she was sporting.

The only sought after statement piece on the washout that was Monday was of course a Spin poncho. For future rainy festival reference note that patent shoes serve as wellies if the mud isn’t more than ankle deep, keep your arms inside your ponchos until you need them to save you extra sogginess and bring that coat your mam is insisting on!
