The HSE and the HRB are asking the public to take an EU drugs survey.
The survey is aimed at people over the age of 18 and will ask about the use of a number of different drugs such as cannabis, cocaine, MDMA, amphetamine, methamphetamine, ketamine and other less known trends such as nitrous oxide and psychedelic mushrooms to provide an overview of the latest drug trends in Ireland
The survey aims to gain a greater understanding of how often people use various drugs, how they take them, the amounts, and the costs.
It is hoped that this information will be used to guide future policy and to help form harm reduction and treatment responses.
Would you like to help out?
You must be over 18, living in Ireland, and have used one of these drugs in the last 12 months: cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy, amphetamine, including methamphetamine and/or any new psychoactive substances ‘NPS’.
The survey takes about 10-15 minutes.
