There's A 'Paint Michael D Higgins' Competition Taking Place In Honour Of His Birthday

Drink & Draw are calling on the people of Ireland to join them in honouring Michael D Higgins on his birthday.

They've launched a competition asking people to share their best drawings of the president.

And they've got prizes too!

The president of Ireland will turn 79 this Saturday, April 18th so why not draw him a picture to celebrate.

Drink & Draw have over €200 worth of prizes for the winners.

There are three categories: Best Painting, Best Pencil Drawing and Most Creative Kids.

The Best Painting prize is a €40 voucher for Evans Art Supplies, a €100 Voucher for Drink & Draw and a certificate.

Meanwhile, you'll receive a €20 voucher for Evans Art Supplies and a €60 Voucher for Drink & Draw if you win Best Pencil Drawing.

And the Most Creative Kid will get a €20 voucher for Evans Art Supplies and a certificate.
