Dublin's best hot chocolate
COld weather is here!
The leaves are falling from the trees, the cosy jumpers are out and we're struggling to resist the temptation to drink all of the hot chocolate.
Whether you're looking for a comforting drink on a cold morning or a quirky place to meet a friend, we've put together a list of our favourite places for a chocolaty beverage in the city.

The Pepper Pot – Powerscourt Centre
This is one of our favourite spots in Dublin.
The Pepper Pot is a quirky cafe perched on a first floor balcony inside the historic Powerscourt Centre.
It's the perfect place to enjoy a rich hot chocolate while doing some people watching.

Accents – Stephen Street Lower
Accents was born when the owner wanted to create somewhere for people to meet and socialise that wasn't a pub.
Their relaxed vibe, comfy couches and late opening hours make it a great meeting point for after work catch-ups.
You'll be served a cup of steamed milk with Belgian Chocolate buttons on the side.
It's then up to you to stir in the buttons to your taste.
They also have white chocolate and vegan options.

Clement & Pekoe – South William Street
Clement & Pekoe call themselves fine tea and coffee specialists.
However, they're also pretty good with hot chocolate too!
Their hot chocolate comes on a stick and you get the pleasure of stirring it in to hot milk until melted.

Ladurée – South William Street
If you want to feel fancy for the day you definitely have to check out Ladurée.
This Parisian-style tea room has the most Instagram-able interior and delicious treats.
Macaroons line the windows and they have a huge selection of chocolates and cakes.
Their luxurious hot chocolate is a silky mixture of French chocolate, milk, sugar and cream.
It's like a little slice of Paris in the heart of Dublin.
