2020 movies
2020 is already shaping up to be a very exciting year for movies!
Lots of franchises will return with the latest James Bond epic No Time To Die due out in April.
We're also getting the first two movies of Marvel's phase 4 - Black Widow and Eternals.
And a new Barbie movie, a Harley Quinn solo release and Legally Blonde 3.
These are the 15 movies out in 2020 that we're most excited for:
Bad Boys For Life
17th January 2020
The Bad Boys are back for a third installment in the franchise.
Once inseparable, the duo is now coming apart as Burnett (Martin Lawrence) becomes a police inspector and Lowery (Will Smith) has a midlife crisis.
But when a Romanian mob boss comes to town Mike and Marcus reunite one last time before retiring.
Birds Of Prey
7th February 2020
It's post Suicide Squad and Harley Quinn has left the Joker.
She's now teamed up with a gang of bad ass female superheroes: Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya.
And the gang must fight to save a young Cassandra Cain from the Black Mask, the latest crime lord to visit Gotham City.
A Quiet Place 2
20th March 2020
Emily Blunt and Noah Jupe are back for the follow up to 2018's A Quiet Place.
While the plot is being kept under wraps for now, we do know that Cillian Murphy will join the cast in a lead role.
Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway
27th March 2020
2018's Peter Rabbit is getting an adorable sequel.
The second installment in the franchise will see Daisy Ridley, James Cordon, Domhnall Gleeson and Rose Byrne reprise their roles.
This time around Peter Rabbit, voiced by Cordon, has run away from home.
While on the road he befriends a rabbit friend of his father.
Mulan

Mulan is the latest Disney animation to get a live action remake.
The historical war drama will tell the story of Mulan, the eldest daughter of an honored warrior who steps in to take his place in the Imperial Chinese Army.
Disguised as male and going under the name Hua Jun, her journey will not be an easy one.
No Time To Die

No Time To Die sees Daniel Craig return for his fifth and final outing as 007.
It's five yive years after the capture of Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Bond has left active service.
However, when a friend enlists his help in locating a missing scientist, Bond must confront a danger the likes of which the world has never seen before.
The New Mutants
10th April 2020
The New Mutants will be the thirteenth and final installment in the X-Men movie series.
Starring Maisie Williams and Antonio Banderas, the movie tells the story of five young mutants who have just discovered their abilities.
Held against their will in a secret facility they must fight to escape.
Black Widow
1st May 2020
Black Widow will see Scarlett Johansson return as Natasha Romanoff for the twenty-fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Set after the events of Captain America: Civil War and before Avengers: Infinity War the movie follows Johansson's character - a former KGB assassin and current agent of SHIELD.
When she faces a new threat she is forced to confront her past and goes on the run.
Legally Blonde 3
8th May 2020
Reese Witherspoon will return to play Elle Woods next summer in the role that made her career 18 year's ago.
Little else is known about the production however, Witherspoon told ET that she wants Elle to, "go on a hero's journey."
Barbie
8th May 2020
Despite a May 2020 release date it's still early days for this forthcoming Barbie movie.
Margot Robbie has reportedly landed the role with couple Greta Gerwig (Ladybird & Little Women) and Noah Baumbach (Marriage Story) set to write the script.
Rumour has it that Gerwig will also direct.
Fast & Furious 9

Following this year's spin off Hobbes and Shaw the Fast & Furious francise will return in 2020 for its ninth installment.
Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez are back with Charlize Theron, Cardi B and Helen Mirren joining the cast.
Wonder Woman 1984

Gal Gadot is back as Wonder Woman in Wonder Woman 1984.
Set in the mid-1980s Gadot's Diana Prince, 'comes into conflict with the Soviet Union during the Cold War'.
However, she finds a friend in new character Cheetah played by Kristen Wiig.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife
8th July 2020
Afterlife centers on a family who move to a small and mysterious town after losing everything.
All that is left to their name is a, 'creepy old farmhouse' in the the middle of nowhere.
The movie stars Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon and Finn Wolfhard and is a direct sequel to 1989's Ghostbusters II.
The King's Man
18th September 2020
With its slightly confusing title The King’s Man is a prequel to the Kingsman movie series.
The period drama stars Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton and Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
And when a collection of the worst villains in history get together to forge a plan that will wipe out millions, one man and his protégé must race against time to stop them.
Eternals
6th November 2020
Following Black Widow, Eternals will be the second movie of Marvel's phase 4.
It features a huge ensemble cast including Angeline Jolie, Richard Madden, Salma Hayek, Gemma Chab, Kit Harrington and Barry Keoghan.
The plot will tell the story of the Eternals - a group of powerful immortals who have helped shape Earth's history.
