Zac Efron is transformed to play Ted Bundy.
The first trailer for Zac Efron's new film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile has been released.
After months of teasing us with tweets and on-site pictures, we finally have something that gives us an idea of what we can expect.
The film tells the story of the infamous serial killer Ted Bundy mostly through the eyes of his longtime girlfriend, Elizabeth Kloepfer, who refused to believe the truth about him for years.
The film will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival today.
Some people have been sharing mixed views to the trailer online.
“I feel a responsibility to make sure that this movie is not a celebration of Ted Bundy, or a glorification of him. But, definitely, a psychological study of who this person was. In that, there’s honesty.” @ZacEfron pic.twitter.com/dnzGUYY0bX

People complaining about the Zac Efron Ted Bundy trailer are missing the point. He was extremely charming but he was also a monster. The trailer is depicting the same type of aura. Also it’s from the POV of his girlfriend who too was duped by him. Come on people.

I’m not lying when I say that my heart is beating so fast right now. I am so excited and proud. And shook, Zac looks just like Ted Bundy. I can’t wait to see this movie, I just know how amazing he will be. #ZacEfron #ExtremelyWickedShockinglyEvilAndVile pic.twitter.com/FDIDQcDJii

With the new movie with Zac Efron playing Ted Bundy, I truly hope people don’t start to glorify him. He was a man who used his charm and looks to murder and rape women. He. Was. Sick.
